The White Mountain area is a favorite destination for climbers, hikers, and a wide variety of tourists from the Harley-Davidson crowd to families in motorhomes. North Conway is a giant strip mall with outlet stores and all more fast food than anyone could ever desire. The tourist trade here is highly seasonal, so watch out for changing hours. There a lots of small and local resturants. Climb high, have fun, eat well!
